KEEP CALM & KOREAN!

Life and Seoul to party

-

IF this pandemic has taught me anything, it’s that I need to marry someone who is a hairdresser, a chef, a dentist and a doctor and who has a huge wine cellar and their own private island.

I have actually been seeing a nurse. I got excited early one morning when she woke me up and she was dressed up in her uniform on her day off.

I thought I was in for a good time but I was let down. She said we were going to the early slot for NHS staff at the local supermarket.

Later I told her that I thought I had some coronavirus symptoms because I couldn’t smell my food and it tasted plasticky.

She told me to remove the package. She also told me that doctors at her hospital are fearing a new deadly pathogen they are calling the Peekaboo virus.

They are sending anyone with signs of Peekaboo straight to ICU. I’ve been giving her a big clap on Thursday nights but I’m still in the bad books.

Apparently a round of applause doesn’t keep the kitchen clean.

As well as being a nurse she followed in the footsteps of her father, who was a very skilled joiner.

Between them they have managed to gather 18 gym memberships and 32 library cards.

Despite the continuing lockdown football club chiefs reckon the season will end after all.

Premier League bosses want to restart the season next month, possibly in neutral stadiums in front of no fans.

Other clubs fear Manchester City will get an unfair advantage as they are used to playing in front of a half empty Etihad.

The South Korean League is back, albeit with no supporters allowed in the stadiums but I am a fan of FC SEOUL and reckon they will beat Gangwon today.
