I can see what will happen if boris johnson isn’t specific with what he’s going to say there will be people interpreting their way and before we know it we will be back to 600 people dead in 24 hours. pauline liverpool

Boris has no need to ease lockdown, the British public are doing that themselves! Sunbathing in parks, packing out buses etc, stopping me, a key worker, from getting to work.

What’s the fascination with getting schools back, they were first to close for fear of transmission to grandparents. I take it that’s not important anymore.

it’s such a shame that the Snow Flakes can’t get to grips with social distancing. Been out the front to tidy up for VE day, three of them came past, no traffic, would have seen me but carried on less than 2 meters away from me could have easily gone in the road. No respect. Proves lock down should remain SAVE LIVES! Boss Boots

It appears that unless an item has a pre specified marked price, heartless individuals are charging whatever they want. This is blatant exploitation of the customer. Darlo Mike

just a thought what has happened to the thousand of deaths from seasonal flu this year? Have they been recorded as covid 19 instead would explain why we have most deaths in europe, or could be that were the fattest, un-healthiest, agiest, densely populated country in europe.

Nice story about 99 year old Army Veteran Douglas Moore. He recovers from coronavirus and is discharged from hospital in time for the VE Day. When asked how he’ll mark the event, he replies that he might have an extra beer. Go for it Douglas, you have earned that beer! It’s stories like this that keep our spirits up.
