Agree with Old Albert. The lower divisions are awash with clubs who have great histories. Blackpool, Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End to name three. They deserve a mention as they once were in the top flight in their heyday. Take note Sweeney who only last week texted in saying he didn’t give a ?!!! if they went bust. Then again you have to take into account he’s a complete and utter !?!!. Mal the Claret

Papers say that 50 players will revolt against plans to resume Premier league and this could ko the season – surely clubs have enough players to cover those who refuse to play, there’s too much to lose if the season is not completed

Let’s hope the Championship season gets finished and Luton are back where they belong. In League One, at best.

Solution to 2019/20 season. Why not wait a few more months and then maybe lockdown will be over and then carry on the season. How can you start a new season with a lot riding on the unfinished one. Unless of course your a mankchester or a bitter blue from across Stanley park. richard, brampton

Any footballer who refuses to start playing again, if the season does restart should be made to do NATIONAL SERVICE, or pay 80 per cent of their pay to the NHS CHARITY.
