CRISTIANO Ronaldo brushes up on his make-up technique as he applies the finishing touches to... himself.

The Juventus forward posed twice in just his undercrackers for the “self-care Sunday” advert.

The ex-manchester United star, 35, is the second highest earning male athlete in the world for the year with £85million, behind tennis legend Roger Federer.

Footballer Lionel Messi was ranked third by Forbes, with a paltry £84m.

A BARMAID is learning to walk and talk again after suffering a stroke on the sofa aged just 19.

Elly Milton was found by her mum Marie unable to speak or move with tears rolling down her face.

The student, who had a floppy arm and a drooping face, was rushed to hospital where her brain began to swell.

She underwent emergency surgery and doctors warned her parents after the op she might not be able to walk or talk.

Elly remained on life support in critical care for 16 hours. But she is stunning medics with her recovery.

Words

She has been undergoing intensive physiotherapy and was deemed well enough to go home at weekends.

Her mum said: “Elly is now proving the doctors wrong and learning to walk again.

“Her right arm is starting to get flickers of life. Now she says words, not always the right words, but little sentences are coming together. She has pure determination.’’

The Liverpool Hope University student was found unresponsive after returning home from work at the Evenwood Farm pub in Runcorn, Cheshire, last year.

She is having physio at St Helens Hospital, Merseyside, and hopes to be well enough to attend a fundraising baking event at the pub later this year.
