MYLEENE Klass looks radiant in blue as she makes the most of the early June sunshine yesterday.

The radio DJ soaked up the rays in a summery cotton maxi dress.

The former Hear’say singer, 42, completed the look with a pair of statement sunglasses, gold necklaces and a white shoulder bag while out and about in London.

A WOMAN who threw a hot meat pie during a brutal attack has been jailed.

Hotel worker Claire Hindley, 36, battered her frail father Keith, 63, after he told her off for frittering away money.

She stamped on him up to 15 times in her Dr. Martens boots, and tried to hit him with a hammer and a sledgehammer.

Then she sank her teeth into the palm of his left hand and hurled the pie at him. Dad-of-three Keith, who has suffered four strokes, was treated in hospital for multiple cuts and bruises to his face and head, a swollen right eye and nose, and a bite wound.

He told police that his daughter had previously kicked and bitten him when she came home drunk the day after his wife died.

Hindley was jailed for two years at

Manchester Crown Court after admitting assault causing actual bodily harm and unlawful wounding.

Drink

Neil Fryman, prosecuting, said her dad had let her stay with him after she had split from her partner and was “hoping she would change her ways”.

He did not report the first attack, but she struck again after he gave her £10 to get herself a drink from the shop.

She returned hours later without the money or a drink and he asked her: “What happens to your brain when you get money? You just lose it.’’

Hindley stormed out, returned 1am and attacked him.

Judge Richard Mansell QC also imposed a five-year restraining order banning her from having face-to-face contact with her dad.

He told Hindley her father had found the “whole sorry episode very difficult”.

The judge added: “He has tried to do his best by you, notwithstanding the fact that you have problems with drink and violence.” at into her dad’s face
