NIALL FLASHES SAM

-

JESSIE Ware was ready to walk away from music and get a normal job due to too much pressure.

The singer struggled to cope with expectations around the release of her last album Glasshouse, despite it charting at No7.

Jessie recalled: “I was miserable. I just thought: ‘Right I’ll just find another f***ing job.’ I’m not precious about it. I needed a break.”

The Save A Kiss singer started her podcast Table Manners shortly afterwards, and its popularity gave her the confidence to keep going.

Jessie explained: “Everyone thought I was really cool, and I was making this cool music, which really blew my mind, because everyone who knows me knows that I’m not cool.

“Then the podcast came along, you just hear me and my mum fighting, shouting, warts and all, chatting about anything and everything; swearing a lot.

“My real personality has come out in that, because that’s me, I feel kind of liberated by that, because it always baffled me that people thought I was a particular way.”

Now, gearing up to release her LP What’s Your Pleasure? on June 19, Jessie will keep on doing music “as long as people want me to”.

She told The Line Of Best Fit website: “There’s always the fear with music that you do have a shelf life, potentially and that you’re only as good as your last record.

“Now I feel that there has actually been a pressure eased, and actually is making me make better music.”

NIALL Horan sent a topless video of himself to newcomer Sam Fischer, right, who was supposed to be supporting him on tour.

Talking about the 1D star, he told Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast: “We’ve had a few cheeky messages.

“He’s a lovely guy. He sent me a lovely video of him singing This City shirtless.”
