Wise Ged: It is curious to argue Boris Johnson is unfit to be PM due to past comments. In the newspaper article about the veil he argued we should show tolerance and generosity and he respectfully thought Denmark had made a mistake in becoming the latest country to ban it. As to remarks about gay men in the past, attitudes change. 30 years ago the vast majority would have totally opposed same sex couples adopting children, regarding it as subversive Loony Leftism.
