JAY’S BUS W***ER REQUESTS Stars coining it from video messages

INBETWEENE­RS star James Buckley has made £100,000 in three months from fans paying him to call them “bus w***ers”.

The actor is charging £41.50 for a video message in which he insults devotees in the style of his infamous character Jay.

And he is not the only one sitting pretty thanks to the money-making scheme.

Other celebs have been coining it in under lockdown through Cameo – a website giving fans the chance to buy a message from their idols.

James has churned out 3,500 videos during the period.

The actor, 32, said: “I got asked a load of times to do video messages for people and I could never be bothered to do it – until I found out there was a way I could do it for money.”

Cameo UK now has 1,100 celebs on its site.

Paul Chuckle, of Chuckle Brothers fame, charges £30 per clip, while reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner makes £2,075 for every message.

The star, who has lost seven stone, put on the dress she wore then to sing along to a recording and posted pictures on Instagram.

And she hinted at a fling with rapper Skepta by replying to his Instagram comment with winking emoji and a heart. ex-liverpool star Ian Rush, who charges £132 per message.

Abbie Sheppard of Cameo UK, said: “What we’re trying to do is to bring the fan and the talent a little bit closer.”

She said Miriam Margolyes, who played Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter films, is “the perfect character” for making fan videos. Actress Miriam, 79, charges £83 per clip.

And in one she delighted a fan when it turned out they both liked curry.

“I love it [when] you have a s*** the next day and your bum burns like billyo, that’s the best bit,” the star declared.
