A massive

DIMITRI PAYET has agreed a 50 per cent pay cut to sign a new contract with Marseille.

The France star forced his way out of West Ham in January 2017 after only 18 months in London.

Payet, 33, seemed set for another fall-out when he criticised win-bonuses last season – and initially opposed wage cuts.

But the Marseille captain has now agreed a new deal until 2024 which will see him give up £4.26m in two years.

Boss Andre Villas-boas has also agreed to stay.
