BRITAIN’S Got Talent is getting supersized this autumn.

TV chiefs will not only air the live semifinals and grand final – postponed from earlier this year – over six Saturday nights, but fans will also get an extra helping of the hit ITV show.

A mini series of BGT’S Greatest Bits is being put together to go out on Saturday nights too – so expect to see Subo, Paul Potts and Pudsey.

A source said: “The shows will feature the most memorable, surprising and extraordinary auditions from the past 14 years.”

REPAIR Shop host Jay Blades claims viewers don’t just tune in to watch his team of experts restore old relics. They are glued to “young guns” Will Kirk and Dominic Chinea, who have become TV’S new sex symbols.

He said: “Those two are the heart-throbs. They’re a triple threat as they’re young, good-looking and have amazing skills. “Actually they’re a quadruple threat as Dom knits and Will plays the guitar!” Asked if he had an army of admirers, he laughed: “I’m 50. Anyone who might fancy me is probably the same age and married and wouldn’t send a message on social media like the youngsters do.”

Jay is fronting the new spin-off show on BBC One called The Repair Shop: Fixing Britain starting today which delves into the past of some of the heirlooms that have been through the barn.

He added: “There’s historical content to every item and we discover why they were so important to us in Britain.”

● The Repair Shop: Fixing Britain is on BBC One today at 4.30pm and Repair Shop airs Wednesdays at 8pm.
