Banksy’s pinwheel town site
Pooch can stamp out messages to owner
A PIECE of art by Banksy created for his “Dismaland” project is to be installed as a permanent fixture in the resort where it appeared.
The giant pinwheel was given to Weston-supermare, Som, by the elusive street artist after the “bemusement park” event finished in 2015.
It has been in storage since but, after discussions between Banksy’s people and the local council, it is now set to be positioned in the town centre. ★

A “TALKING” dog tells her owner when she wants walkies or needs a wee and that she loves her.
Bunny the sheepadoodle – a cross between an old English sheepdog and poodle – steps on the words on a soundboard.
She can even tell owner Alexis Devine: “Love you mum.”
The pooch learned almost at once how to say she wanted to go outside, but can now stamp out demands including “play”, “beach” and “park”.
Tricks
The 11-month-old pup can even discuss the family’s pet cat Spooky – by pressing the command for “Play, Spooky”.
And she has worked out how to get her favourite tickly scratch on the head.
Artist Alexis, from Tacoma in Washington, US, said: “It has been an overwhelmingly positive experience.
“Bunny and I work on engagement, tricks and obedience to strengthen our bond daily. This has added so much laughter, joy and wonder to our lives.
“It is always an adventure, and we are thoroughly enjoying the ride regardless of the destination.
“Bunny currently has 45 words on her board with five of them being new enough that we are still helping her to understand them contextually.”
Alexis was inspired by seeing the technology being used online by other dog owners.
