FRANKENSTEIN JIBE

- ■ by TIM REDIGOLO

DONALD Trump’s niece has branded her uncle a “Frankenstein” with a severe personality disorder in an explosive tell-all book.

Mary Trump, a 55-year-old psychologist, says that while the fictional Dr Frankenstein was horrified by the monster he created, the president “glories in its anger and its destruction”.

And she blames Mr Trump’s dad, the late property tycoon Fred Trump who left his fortune to Donald, because he bullied his five children.

Mary, who is estranged from Donald, claims Fred destroyed his son and ruined his ability to develop and experience

“the entire spectrum of human emotion”.

She reckons that love meant nothing to Fred and that he wanted only obedience.

That approach to fatherhood left Trump desperate to impress his dad.

Mary writes: “By limiting Donald’s access to his own feelings and rendering many of them unacceptable, Fred perverted his son’s perception of the world and damaged his ability to live in it.”

She calls Trump weak with a fragile ego that “must be bolstered every moment because he knows deep down that he is nothing of what he claims to be”.

And she says: “He meets the criteria for anti-social personality disorder.”

Mary, the daughter of Trump’s late older brother Fred Junior, is a Democrat and fought a legal battle with Donald and his siblings over money.

The Trump family has sued to block the publication of Mary’s book, Too Much And Never Enough: How My Family Created The World’s Most Dangerous Man, due to hit shops on Tuesday.
