VIEWERS of a squeamish disposition should look away now!

A new documentary series is set to lid on Britain’s pimple poppers.

Doctors Adil Sheraz and Dev Shah earn their livings dealing with pus, fat growths and cystic fluid.

A show source said: “They’ll squeeze, drain, pop or surgically remove cysts, lipomas, acne comedones and anything else that’s getting under their patients’ skin!”

● starts its run tomorrow on 5Star at 9pm.

JANET Devlin has revealed that she refused to wear revealing outfits on

The X Factor.

The singer was unhappy wearing racy stuff because she was just

16 at the time.

Speaking on The Reality Of Reality TV

podcast, she said: “There were times where I was put in these provocative outfits and I’d have to be like, ‘I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but I’m 16. So, can we please take these stockings off my legs? Thank you.’

“It’s not that I knew what I wanted – I just knew what I did not want.” lift the

FILMING on Hollyoaks has resumed. Its stars were back on set on Monday after the pandemic forced them to take a four-month break.

Bosses have installed a string of new measures to ensure the show can be produced safely. They include temperature checks and social distancing.

Nick Pickard, who plays Tony Hutchinson, beamed as he returned to work.

A new trailer will give soap fans a taste of what is to come this autumn when it is broadcast next week.

THE first blind contestant on Celebrity Masterchef credits the show for changing his life.

Travel presenter Amar Latif, who lost his sight at 18, has learned that his condition does not have to hold him back when it comes to creating amazing dishes.

He said: “Because I was blind, I thought you just put stuff in the plate and you eat it, and that’s what I did.

“I didn’t realise that there was this visual world out there of presenting the food in such a nice way.

“The show has totally changed my life.

“Now I invite friends to my home and I make some lovely things and

I present it well.

“I’m making them beautiful versions. I have got that confidence because as long as you keep tasting your food and listening to your food and engaging with your food, then your food doesn’t let you down.”

In tonight’s episode, we will see Amar try to impress judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode with his dishes. And he does so well that he reckons some viewers will simply assume he has been given extra help because of his blindness.

He said: “A lot of times people will not understand that I can cook.

“They’ll be thinking that the BBC are boxticking and they’ll be thinking that I’ll have got some preferential treatment.

“They just won’t realise that a blind guy, after doing hard work, is able to produce presentable food.”

Amar competes against Gethin Jones, Jeff Brazier, Felicity Montagu and Lady Leshurr in tonight’s show at 9pm on BBC One.
