Yvette prefers her ‘afterlife’ father
MOST Haunted presenter Yvette Fielding claims she now has a closer relationship with her late father’s ghost than when he was alive.
The 51-year-old said that they regularly exchange messages – although he once told her she was too skinny.
Fielding says in an Acting For Others podcast interview with her ex Blue Peter co-host Mark Curry: “This may seem strange, but I have more of a relationship, and a better relationship, with my father since he passed over than I did when he was alive. Try and figure that one out.”
She says she and her late dad have a system in place where he taps to letters of the alphabet.
She added: “My dad has come through with all sorts of information, telling me to get Rick my brother to come home, ‘I don’t want him in America.’ He told me to stop dieting, ‘Too much, skinny cow!’ Really interesting stuff.”
She said that the paranormal had really “shaped” her way of thinking.
Fielding added: “Twenty years of doing this now and I know 100% that there is life after death.
“There is a reason for us being here. And it has reshaped my life.
“It’s made me a much happier person. I look at life in a different way.”
