A DRUG dealer who made a 250-mile trip in the first week of lockdown told police he was on a blind date.

Tolgar Bomboz and his pal Stephen Hamilton were held after residents in Exeter reported them for not socially distancing as they sold heroin in a park.

Bomboz, who told cops he was meeting a girl, and Hamilton, both 20 and from Wallasey, Wirral, admitted drugs charges.

Judge Timothy Rose deferred sentence at Exeter Crown Court and said they would not go straight to jail if they stay out of trouble.
