Kanye believe it’s over already

- ■ by ANTONY THROWER

KANYE West has dropped out of the 2020 US presidential race less than two weeks into his campaign.

Steve Kramer, who was hired to help the rapper on the ballot in Florida and South Carolina, confirmed: “He’s out.”

It follows a poll that suggested that the 21-time Grammy winner, 43, would get less then 2% of the vote.

Kramer said: “Running for president has to be one of the hardest things for someone to actually contemplate, any candidate running for president for the first time goes through these hiccups.

“I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye.”

The election strategist added that the staff Kanye had hired “were disappointed not just because they would be out of a job, but because they were excited about what a Kanye campaign represented”.

Tesla boss Elon Musk, West’s political adviser, says he thinks it would be better if the father-of-four Birthday Party candidate tried his luck in 2024.
