Staring ‘led to knifing’
A MAN stabbed an Arsenal fan to death at a Tube station because he looked at him the wrong way, the Old Bailey heard.
Tashan Daniel, 20, was making his way to a game on September 24 when Alex Lanning, 23, attacked him at Hillingdon station in west London, jurors heard yesterday.
Mr Daniel was about to get on the train with his pal when he was attacked.
Prosecutors claim that Lanning was joined in the attack by 19-year-old Jonathan Camille.
Jonathan Rees, QC, prosecuting, said: “It seems the catalyst was Mr Lanning thought Tashan Daniel was looking at him across the rail tracks.”
Lanning, of Uxbridge, west London, has admitted manslaughter but denies murder.
Camille, of Kensington, west London, denies manslaughter and murder.
The trial continues.
