TO help get our readers in the baking mood, Edgard & Cooper have kindly shared one of their delicious dog-friendly recipes…

Method:

■ Preheat the oven to 180C. Place baking paper on a baking tray and set aside.

■ Mix the puree with the egg. Gradually add the coconut flour and mix until nicely absorbed and the batter no longer sticks.

Add the apple, mint and parsley and mix.

Knead the dough 3 to 4 times until it comes together in a ball. Roll out the dough to half an inch thick.

■ Cut out the cookies with a cutter and place on the tray.

■ Bake 15min until golden brown.

■ Cool completely before letting them tuck in!
