JENNIFER Grey is preparing to have the time of her life again in a new Dirty Dancing movie.

The actress, 60, is said to be keen to star and produce the film which studio bosses say will be a new take on the cult 1987 classic.

Speaking about the original flick, Jennifer, who played Baby, said: “I remember swimming in the lake was very, very, very cold. You have to be really young and hungry to get in water that cold for that long. It was not good.

“I remembered thinking, ‘Can you die if your nipples explode?’”

The film followed an innocent teenager who learns important life lessons by dancing saucily with hunky professional Johnny Castle, played by the late Patrick Swayze.

It won an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Song for Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes’ (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.

Jennifer, who was 27 when she played the lead role, said the famous finale scene where Johnny Castle tells his partner’s protective dad that “nobody puts Baby in a corner” was a nightmare to film.

Jennifer said: “I remember doing the big dance finale and they had just painted the stage. The paint would stick to my feet so I couldn’t turn.”
