Mum’s joy at tyre rule
TYRES more than 10 years old are to be banned from lorries, buses and coaches after a campaign by the mum of a teenager killed in a crash.
Frances Molloy’s son Michael, 18, died in a coach smash on the way to Liverpool from Bestival on the Isle of Wight in 2012.
She said: “This is a significant milestone in our seven-year campaign.”
