TO Fleabag fans, actor Andrew Scott will always be “The Hot Priest”.
But Phoebe Waller-bridge denies that she ever called his character that when she penned the BBC comedy.
She told BAFTA Television: The Sessions: “I didn’t call him The and Levi
Hot Priest – the internet did!
“In the script, the character was always just The Priest. After all my years of complaining that women in the scripts are described as like, ‘Sandra, beautiful, walks into a room’ and then it’s like a man in… and all that kind of stuff.”

The show has been revamped because of the lockdown measures so expert agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson have arranged for the stars to go on video dates from home or outdoor hook-ups where they socially distance.
Hunky Levi – who also appeared on last year’s The X Factor: Celebrity – said: “After being single since I was 18, I am so ready to meet somebody I can hopefully spark a romance with.”
Sexy Shaughna – who had a rocky ride trying to find a fella on Love Island this year – said: “I’m feeling hopeful the experience won’t be as bad as my previous dating fails!”
Towie heart-throb Pete Wicks is back for a second time on the show and said “I’m looking forward to getting a slightly different experience.
“Lockdown has really made me realise I am ready to have someone to share my time with, instead of just my dogs!”
And Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry – who’s teased she is open to dating men and women – said “I can’t wait to see what advice the agents can give me, and if they can help me find me a worldie.”
