HOW do we mend our fractured relationship when my on/off girlfriend chose to isolate with another guy?

She made a snap decision because she knew the sex would be better with him, but now realises that I’m a better person (that is, I earn more). She did have a wild time, but now it’s time to settle down with me. Should I be flattered or insulted?
