SIR KENNY DALGLISH will hand Liverpool’s title winning heroes their medals at their Premier League trophy presentation next week.
The Kop legend (inset) will play a major role in the celebrations as Jordan Henderson finally gets his hands on the silverware following the Reds’ clash with Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday.
Henderson will lift the trophy on the Kop at Anfield surrounded by supporters banners in the
absence of fans at the stadium. Dalglish was the last manager before Jurgen Klopp to win a league title with Liverpool when the Reds last won it in 1990.
Liverpool asked for approval to have the club legend involved in the presentation.
And the Premier League have given the green light. The Premier League said: “This historic occasion will be marked with a unique ceremony designed to acknowledge the club’s supporters.”
The game and trophy presentation will also be on Sky’s free-to-air channel Pick.
