HARRY Maguire’s brother is expected to stand trial alongside him over his Greek brawl.
Joe Maguire, 28, was arrested with the England star and is set to be named as a co-defendant when the case returns to court later today.
Local officials confirmed that Joe, who has played for Scunthorpe United, was held with Harry over Thursday night’s melee on the Greek island of Mykonos.
The siblings, and a Brit pal who was also detained, spent two nights in a cell prior to appearing before a court on the neighbouring island of Syros.
They are accused of bodily harm and serial insult.
Manchester United captain Harry, 27, and a friend have also been charged with attempted bribery. They deny all charges.
Dad-of-two Joe had joined Harry and their sister Daisy, 20, on holiday.
Sources said Harry was taunted by rival fans before an Albanian man started chatting up Daisy.
When she rejected him she was reportedly stabbed in the arm. Harry stepped in and a fight broke out.
When plain-clothed police came to break it up, one officer was allegedly verbally abused and hit.
Harry is not expected to attend today’s hearing after flying back to Britain.
Yesterday it was reported the case could be adjourned after an outbreak of coronavirus at the town hall which houses the courtroom.
The defender will find out if he has been dropped by England when manager Gareth Southgate names his squad later today.
