if i was an employer, i wud look for the school leaver who had decided their vocation, self sourced it, slipped silently away for interviews and had the wherewithal to do that without mummy and daddy holding their hand. Give me a confident, enthusiastic individual over a self absorbed degree chaser any day of the week.
