Knifing suspect ‘ looked terrified’
A KNIFE rampage suspect looked “terrified” when armed police arrested him in his pyjamas.
Neighbours were woken by the sound of officers storming the 27- year- old man’s home at 4am yesterday.
They dragged him off in handcuffs to be quizzed about a 90- minute stabbing spree in Birmingham that left one dead, two fighting for life and five others with knife wounds.
The family of Jacob Billington, 23, from Crosby, Liverpool, who was killed in the attacks, said he was “the light of our life”.
Residents near the suspect’s home in Selly Oak, three miles from the attack scene, said they awoke to a “massive bang” as police bashed down the door.
One resident said: “We thought someone had crashed a car.”
Another neighbour saw the suspect, wearing pyjama bottoms, “spread out on the floor with his arms behind his back”.
And another said: looked terrified.”

Netflix film Miss Americana has inspired her to release something soon. Katy added: “What I was really impressed by was Taylor’s documentary.
“That whole time she’s just been documenting intense amounts of footage and that’s not over one tour or one record cycle.” Katy did release the documentary Part Of Me in 2012 but that was filmed around one tour and she wants to show her fans the “bigger story” like Swifty did.
Her latest album Smile is full of classic pop bangers but the singer insists she’s itching to release a more laid- back album.
Katy said: “In my life and in my career, that acoustic moment is going to exist. It’s just a matter of when.”
