‘ Please ignore his behaviour’

DONALD Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Price for helping negotiate a deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

The controversial move was made by Norwegian MP Christian TybringGjedde, who praised the US President for his efforts towards resolving international conflicts.

He cited Mr Trump’s “key role” in negotiations between Israel and the UAE along with those between South Korea and North Korea – but asked the Nobel Committee to ignore “the way he behaves sometimes”.

Mr Tybring- Gjedde said: “He has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.

“As it is expected other Middle Eastern countries will follow in the footsteps of the UAE, this agreement could be a game- changer.

“Indeed, Trump has broken a 39- year- old streak of American presidents either starting a war or bringing the United States into an international armed conflict.”

Mr Tybring- Gjedde was keen to stress that he is not a “big Trump supporter” and said the committee “should judge him on the facts – not the way he behaves sometimes”.

New book Disloyal by Mr Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen claims that Mr Trump once said he was not worried about wife Melania leaving him over his alleged cheating, insisting: “I can always get another.”

And former Defense Secretary James Mattis heard the president once say: “My f*** ing generals are a bunch of p***** s,” journalist Bob Woodward’s new book claims.
