Mikel’s job is a work of Art

JURGEN KLOPP believes Mikel Arteta has changed the mood at Arsenal and turned the Gunners into winners again.

Liverpool take on Arteta’s side on Monday in the Premier League as they prepare for their second clash of the season following the Gunners’ win in the Community Shield.

Arteta led them to the FA Cup last season and is now trying to improve on their eighth- placed finish in the league last term.

And Klopp ( inset) is preparing his champions for a tough challenge at Anfield.

The Kop boss said: “Mikel showed in a pretty short period of time that he seems to be an exceptional football manager because the team he sets up now, the structure of the team is absolutely exceptional.

“You can see the balance between defence and offence is really good, you can see a lot of things that are obviously really helpful in football.

“Good organisation but freedom for the players as well, he uses the players in the right positions.

“I have to say since he has been there he did a pretty impressive job.

“He has changed the whole mood in the club.” Arte Arteta has a 100 per cen cent record against Ju Jurgen Klopp after th the Gunners beat th the Reds 2- 1 in the le league in July and the then again in the Comm Community Shield. But the Spaniard has warned his team they must be ready to suffer at the home of the champions of England.

He said: “I think they are getting better and better and they have less weaknesses. They are a fantastic side.

“The issue with the weaknesses of opponents is how many you are able to exploit and how many opportunities you get to do that.”
