Hanni hits back over Corrie Jack FURY AT CLAIM OF ’ LOVE CHILD SNUB’
THE girlfriend of Corrie star Jack P Shepherd has defended him over claims he is snubbing his love child.
Hanni Treweek hit back at trolls who attacked her for dating the actor, who has played David Platt for 20 years.
Sales executive Sammy Milewski gave birth to Jack’s son Greyson in 2010.
Jack, 32, pays maintenance to Sammy, but has never met Greyson, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder that means he has seizures.
Hanni, 31, was asked on Instagram: “How do you feel dating a man who has nothing to do with his disabled son Greyson?” She replied: “I get trolled by people like you on a daily basis. I wasn’t in Jack’s life when that happened.
“What I can comment on is that he was 21, a young man in the public eye with a lot to learn. Everyone has a past.
“It’s important not to judge a book by its cover. You might think you know the facts but you don’t.”
Jack’s ex- fiancée Lauren Shippey has also claimed he is neglecting their two children Nyla, 11, and Reuben, six.
Lauren, who was in a relationship with Jack from 2002 to 2017, hit out after he spoke to OK! magazine about home- schooling their children with Hanni over lockdown.
She said: “I’m speaking out now because Jack has used his celebrity status to give an interview which portrays a false image of how he behaves. Jack didn’t see his children for almost four months.”
She added: “He hurt me emotionally quite a few times. I always had his back and forgave him. He’s seen as a lovable rogue and a cheeky chap, but my children need him to be a dad rather than see him gallivanting around town.”
