EMILY Atack says men still call her Charlotte from The Inbetweeners – even while romping in bed.
The actress, 30, who played Charlotte “Big Jugs” Hinchcliffe, said: “I’ve been called Charlotte by three different dates.
“I’ve always forgiven it because they genuinely haven’t meant to do it, and I can see the absolute look of horror on their faces when they realise.
“I’ve laughed it off – although once I was sleeping with someone when they said it, and it was like: ‘ Oh for f***’ s sake.’
“I still carried on though!”
Her new TV comedy sketch show, The Emily Atack Show, above, starts next week and she expects her frank chat about sex and dating to open a few eyes.
Emily admitted: “It will be quite alarming for people at first to see a blonde girl with boobs on stage talking about sex, but why not?
“You’ve got the wonderful Fleabags of the world getting away with talking openly about sex because there is an element of posh education to it, but I’m saying we’re allowed to talk about that stuff too.” Emily described her own humour as “like a filthy, naughty boy scout”. The new show starts on November 4 at 10pm on ITV2.
EMILY Atack looks a deadringer dead for Villanelle from Killing Eve in this picture. The star has donned a big pink frock just like the one sported by the TV assassin played by Jodie Comer in the BBC thriller. Emily will be hoping her jokes are “killers” too when she launches her own comedy sketch and impressions show. Fans will see her mimic celebs including Gemma Collins, Keith Lemon and Holly Willoughby when The Emily Atack Show starts on November 4 at 10pm on ITV2.
