Beverley’s boob as she thinks a bug was in bra
CORRIE star Beverley Callard got a fright on her first day in I’m A Celebrity’s haunted castle.
But it wasn’t from a ghost as the actress was convinced she had a bug trapped in her bra.
Bev, best known as Liz Mcdonald on the ITV soap, had just taken part in the first gruelling trial with the gang.
Despite winning seven out of 10 stars in Gates Of Hell and securing dinner for the camp, the celebrities got covered in critters such as maggots, mealworms, cockroaches and crickets.
Afterwards Bev thought something was crawling around in her bra and screamed: “Oh my God this is my worst nightmare.”
She lifted up her top and BBC broadcaster and journalist Victoria Derbyshire offered to have a rummage.
Victoria commented: “Magnificent breasts. What a cleavage.”
After getting the all clear, Bev said: “Oh my God, they’re pushed up beyond belief.” It was one of several dramas on the opening night of ITV’S I’m A Celebrity, which this year is being staged at Gwrych Castle in north Wales instead of Australia due to Covid restrictions.
Eastenders star and mum Jessica Plummer was the first to burst into tears as she is already missing her four- year- old daughter Noa.
She sobbed: “I said to my daughter before we left each other that if she misses me when she’s at home, she looks for the moon, I can look at the moon and we can both see it.”
And the celebs kicked up a stink about their new home when they arrived in the ruined castle – with rusty old beds to sleep on, smashed windows and a watering can for a shower.
DJ Jordan North moaned about “the horrific bathroom” and Bev called it “minging”.
And when they got their dinner of rabbit, Bev refused to eat it and Jess added: “I had a pet rabbit when I was a kid called Boris.”
Ex- Eastender Shane Richie lightened the mood by trying one of the hammocks in the bedroom and promptly fell out.
TV host Vernon Kay joked about the new series: “It’s going to be good, it’s exciting. One of us could die which makes great telly.”
