Due to technical problems we are unable to provide our usual greyhound service.

ENVOI ALLEN made it 10 from 10 under rules with a brilliant success at Fairyhouse.

He destroyed his rivals in yesterday’s Grade One Baroneracing. com Drinmore Novice Chase with a razor- sharp round of jumping.

It was a performance Gordon Elliott’s already a winner at Cheltenham Festival.

Jack Kennedy enjoyed an armchair ride as he set out to make all and Envoi Allen cruised to an eight- andahalf length success to build on his already sky- high reputation. Betfair make him their 15- 8 favourite for the Marsh Chase at Cheltenham in March. Elliott said: “A clear round is all you want and Jack said he was foot perfect the whole way.

“The second last can be tricky here, so he let him back on his hocks and once he gave him a squeeze after that it was all over.

“The one thing he did faultless from star, dual the say is he’s having a good blow, so there’s plenty of improvement in him.

“We didn’t think there’d be much pace, so it made sense to keep it simple. When he gets in a real race you’ll see the real horse – that will be Cheltenham.”

The six- year- old is likely to head to Punchestown for a Grade Two contest in January, which would be his prep for Cheltenham.

A thrilled Kennedy said: “He didn’t put a foot wrong again. Whether you’re long or short, it doesn’t matter on him. The way he picked up away from the second last was brilliant.”

Kennedy wore the Cheveley Park Stud colours to land a Grade One double on Ballyadam in the Baroneracing. com Royal Bond Hurdle and also rode Zanahiyr to win the Bar One Racing Price Boost Juvenile Hurdle.

He is the new favourite for the Triumph Hurdle. DANNY COOK is taking time out from the saddle in the hope an eye injury, from which he had only recently returned, improves enough for him to continue his career.
