NUDE STARS FACE TV BAN
ITV is said to be blacklisting stars who have X-rated Onlyfans accounts.
The channel is concerned with the rise of subscription-based sites where reality stars such as Kerry Katona, 40, post exclusive content for extra cash. Some celebs post topless or nude pics.
A source told the Daily Star: “It’s thought that such explicit work isn’t compatible with their audience.”
A rep for ITV declined to comment.
A GROUP of “young wokeys” helped to drive out Piers Morgan from his job at ITV, sources claim.
The professional loudmouth is also said to have been targeted by senior execs at the network over his outbursts.
But Morgan, 55, could have the last laugh as he is now rumoured to be at the centre of a £10million TV bidding war.
He quit Good Morning Britain last week when he refused to apologise for his attack on a publicity-shy woman following her interview with US telly host Oprah Winfrey.
And it is claimed that before he stormed off during an on-air debate, some studio staff had moaned about his earlier comments.
A TV insider said: “They are young, they’re very woke and some decided it was their mission to save the programme from Morgan, the anti-woke warrior-in-chief.”
The group at ITV’S White City studios in west London have been branded the “young wokeys” and were in “deep distress” over the presenter’s non-pc rants.
Morgan is also said to have run into trouble with ITV chief executive Carolyn Mccall who is behind the network’s mental health awareness campaign.
Another TV insider said: “Her hands were tied. Unless Piers would make a full apology, he had to leave.”
Morgan is now being courted by start-up broadcaster GB News, and is said to have been offered lucrative jobs in America, where his CNN show was axed in 2014 amid plummeting ratings.
