MONSTER TASK WAS SO CHILLING

-

FREDDIE Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp feared they’d be eaten alive by the Loch Ness Monster while filming A League of Their Own.

They headed to Scotland to hunt the mythical creature for the new series.

And, after producers dropped them into the 755ft deep expanse of cold water where it is said to live, they started to panic.

Jamie said: “I believe in the Loch Ness monster.

“It is one of the great conspiracy theories of all time, so why shouldn’t we think it’s true?”

Freddie said: “I would love to believe there’s something there. Whether it’s a monster or just a big fish or something prehistoric, I’m not sure. “I’m invested in it. “When we got put in the water it was in the back of my mind that there’s something down there. The water is so deep so it could be anything.

“Jamie thinks it has had kids. If you got eaten by it, what a way to go…”

The lads survived the expedition, but doesn’t mean they suffer.

Filming took place late last year so the water was very chilly indeed.

Jamie said: “If the Loch Ness Monster does exist then it must like cold water. It was freezing. So Nessie must have thermals on!”

Freddie is up for investigating more crazy stuff for future episodes.

He said: “I love conspiracy theories, everything from the moon landings to ideas the earth is flat.”
