Holmes in pain but no diagnosis
TELLY presenter Eamonn Holmes is in hospital after being struck down with a mystery illness.
The 61-year-old This Morning star tweeted to confirm the news yesterday afternoon.
Alongside a selfie of himself wearing a surgical face mask, Eamonn wrote: “At Hospital ..... pain like I’ve never experienced in my life. Need to find out what’s causing this. Wish me well.”
Eamonn’s hospital visit follows a series of distressing messages where he told followers he couldn’t sleep because of the severe pain he was experiencing.
The broadcaster wrote on Wednesday night:
“Don’t know about u but I got 90 mins tonight before the pain woke me up.
“I just want to say Twitter can rightly be criticised .... yet here through sharing the common but not talked about experience of
#Chronicpain we r giving each other support.
“Let’s keep talking

Eamonn, who is married to his former This Morning co-host Ruth Langsford, 61, also appeared to be the worse for wear after he earlier posted a picture of himself on the physiotherapy table.
He told fans: “Starting the day by tackling the pain from the night before... On the Physio table. Chronic pain. Just can’t get it to go away. Sadly so many of you know the feeling.
“Thanks for sharing your stories. I’m determined to beat this ...however much it hurts.”
Many of his one million followers showered him with support.

Another wrote: “Sending so much hope and best wishes your way xx.”
A third person posted: “Get well soon Eamonn!”
