HOMEBUYERS who post videos on Tiktok are sending out an invitation to burglars.
Security experts say footage posted under the #Newhome hashtag is being used by the villains to pick out potential victims.
The videos show the layout of the properties – including window and door access points – and the location and type of alarms.

Boss Anthony Neary said: “The risks aren’t being considered as millions are sharing vital information about their new homes on the likes of Instagram and Tiktok.
“It’s important to be a step ahead of thieves so as not to have to deal with the pain a burglary can cause.’’
Webpages bearing #Newhome hashtags have been viewed 506million times on Tiktok.
And a poll of 2,000 homebuyers revealed 74% had posted footage of their properties on social media.
