JONAS Blue has predicted we’re in for a Summer of Love part II when clubs reopen next month. Ahead of his comeback show at London’s Ministry of Sound, the DJ has forecast months of partying and a baby boom like in 1967. He told me: “Clubbing and partying will be like the Summer of Love all over again. There is going to be so much love on that dance floor. “People have just been so deprived of it for so long, we’re going to witness something we’ve never seen before because emotions are going to be running so high on dance floors. “It will just be completely different vibes to what we, the younger generation, has experienced before.” Although Jonas says he’s nervous about returning to touring after a year off spent catching up on sleep and working on himself.

He added: “It always happens when I take a break and then you go back on the road and have one of the biggest shows. So those nerves happen anyway as you’re out of motion.

“In the height of the summer I’ll be back to three or four gigs a week after having over a year’s worth of a break. I’ve never had that so to go back and do the opening night of the Ministry of Sound is huge. I really hope we can do that.” Although the producer is itching to get out there and play new tune Hear Me Say featuring Swedish star Léon. Jonas said: “With this song I get the same feeling as when I did Fast Car as you have that rich depth of a voice on there, and it’s a deep song but with that juxtaposition of the dance track behind it.

“You’ll be on the dance floor and you’ll be crying and dancing at the same time. It’s that happy balance.”
