Samsung tab bites at Apple
APPLE may have just launched a new and ludicrously powerful ipad Pro but Samsung is fighting back with its own tasty tablet upgrade.
The Korean tech firm’s feature-packed new Galaxy Tab S7 FE arrives in stores this month and even comes with a stylus in the box – that’s something Apple charges an extra £119 for.
That digital S Pen will allow owners to scribble and take notes on the pin-sharp 12.4in display without using a finger.
Helping to power this device through its tasks is a fast Octacore processor and 5G network speeds offer access to super quick downloads when away from fixed-line broadband.
A keyboard case can be added to transform the S7 into a mini laptop, plus there’s fast charging and some booming speakers to boost the evening’s Netflix binge.
The Tab S7 is finished in metal and comes in four colours: mystic black; mystic silver; mystic green; and mystic pink. Prices start from £589.
If that sounds a bit rich then there’s also a new £149 Tab A7 Lite which gets an 8.7-inch screen, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and 64GB of expandable memory.
There’s no 5G option but Samsung says a 4G connected variant will be made available at launch although this will cost more when popping it in your online shopping basket.
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is also available later this month in grey and silver.
