NOW DOM SELLS DIRT ON BOZO...
Knobo promises No 10 secrets
DOMINIC “Knobo” Cummings wants people to pay £120 a year for a newsletter filled with his old boss’s secrets.
Boris Johnson’s ex-top adviser says he is planning to launch an online dispatch so subscribers can read “stuff on the media, Westminster, ‘inside No 10,’ how did we get Brexit done in 2019, the 2019 election etc”.
The 49-year-old added in a web post: “Subscribers will find out first about new projects that I make public. Only subscribers can comment.”
It prompted Downing
Street to suggest he may be in breach of the special advisers’ code of conduct. Bozo’s official spokesman said: “I’m not going to get into hypotheticals. We expect all current and former special advisers to act in full accordance with that code of conduct.” Cummings made his newsletter announcement on Twitter. It revealed he has set up a profile on Substack that allows people to sign up to mailing lists. Cummings said he also intended to use the platform to campaign for answers over the Government’s handling of the Covid crisis.
He added he may be of use “if you want to win an election” or “you want to predict something but don’t know how”.
And he said it was part of his plan to “expand” on the explosive testimony he gave in May.
He told ministers the PM treated coronavirus like a “scare story”, Health Secretary Matt Hancock should have been “sacked for lying”, and ministers were “literally skiing” as the pandemic was developing.
The dad-of-one also claimed it was “crackers” Boris had become Prime Minister as he was “unfit for the job”.
Parliamentary committee members said he had failed to provide supporting evidence.
