We were joined in bed by naked pals

WAKING UP WAS A SHOCK

-

WE recently woke up and found our best friends in bed with us.

I don’t think we had sex, but I’m not absolutely sure.

We were all very drunk after a boozy garden party. I surfaced at 5am with my mouth like the inside of a budgie cage. I desperately needed a glass of water.

I rolled over to my right in an effort to get out of bed and found my way blocked.

Farce

Then I tried the other side, but my boyfriend was sleeping there.

It took me a couple of seconds to realise there were two other bodies under the duvet with us. I eventually prodded him in the ribs and hissed: “Wake up.”

Then we spotted our best mates either side of us – completely naked. I faked a coughing fit and we shot off into the kitchen. We didn’t have any clothes so had to put our coats on!

It was all a complete farce. Eventually, we decided that my boyfriend would go back into the bedroom with two mugs of tea, but they were already dressed and coming down the stairs. They made their excuses and left.

Now both of them are texting me in an overly familiar way and I’m worried that they want to swing. My friend is claiming that

they came into our bedroom by mistake – apparently they were so drunk they mistook our room for the spare.

But my boyfriend is convinced they deliberately waited until we were in bed before targeting us.

He thinks they’ve been angling for an orgy for ages. I’m freaked out here.

JANE SAYS: This isn’t funny. If your friends really did touch either of you or attempted (or even achieved) sex, then that’s a very serious matter.

You and your boyfriend need to think about what went on that night. How did

you feel – physically – when you woke up? Is it possible that you were inappropriately violated? In which case, do you need to report this incident to the police? Don’t be embarrassed or shy.

It’s your call, but we have to be able to trust the people around us and if this pair are tricky and devious then they’re no friends of yours.

Of course, it’s highly possible they were completely drunk and stumbled into the wrong room. But again, you have to trust your instincts about that.

Is your spare room similar

to your bedroom? Wouldn’t they have noticed that there were already two bodies in the bed, no matter how sloshed they were?

If you’re not interested in swinging with them and if you no longer want them in your lives, then you’ve got to tell them to leave you alone.

A line was clearly crossed and no-one has the right to assume anything if you’re not up for swinging.

You and your guy need to pull together and do the right thing because these people can’t be allowed to harass anyone else.
