Aha! Noel fan of TV flop Alan Partridge

ALAN Partridge superfan Noel Gallagher holds quiz nights where he and his bandmates test each others’ knowledge of the Steve Coogan character.
The former Oasis star said: “Alan Partridge – everyone knows it on tour.
“We’ve got the Alan Partridge quiz book, we have that out in the dressing room some nights, all f ****** bladdered.
“So we’ve done Alan Partridge quiz nights in the dressing room, so everyone knows their s***.”
The guitar legend was thrilled to be invited to a preview of the last Partridge series, This Time.
He said: “I was like: ‘No f ****** way,’ honestly it’s like ‘wow.’
“I could gladly tell everybody it was f***ing right up there.
“It’s f ****** great. I was trying to explain to someone the other day, it’s like every time he comes back, Alan Partridge, it’s like The Beatles reforming, do you know what I mean? Because he’s f ****** such an amazing f ****** character.
“And Coogan is like the man. It’s f ****** unbelievable.”
Noel also revealed that he is also a big fan of telly host Richard Madeley, who’s often dubbed a real-life Partridge.
He said: “He’s f ****** brilliant. He f ****** knows who he is mate.”
Meanwhile, Noel has also told how he found a stash of unreleased Oasis songs in a box in a cupboard under his stairs.
And in news that will excite fans when there is little hope of there ever being a reunion, he pledged: “I’ll use them.”
He said: “There was this box in the cupboard under the stairs with all these blank Cds in.
“I found a load of old Oasis stuff, like songs I’d never recorded but I’d demoed.
“I’m going: ‘No f ****** way!’”
