£82k-a-year MP should try living on a pension

-

❑ the ‘father of the house’ Peter Bottomley reckons it’s virtually immpossible to live on an MP’S wages! With all the expenses, subsidised meals etc I find that very hard to believe! He wants to try living on a state pension! I’ve already had to switch off my heating – god only knows wat nxt. robtin

❑ So poor peter bottomley says it grim to live on 82 thousand a year! Stupid old prat, at time people living of food banks he want a size 8 boot up his arse. Lawrence antrim

❑ how come that scum couzens is allowed to keep a 1/3rd of his pension but I had my railway pension deducted from my benefits when I retired? jackie highton

❑ when are local councils going to stop squandering our council tax and then bleat that they need more money to keep services running! Oap

❑ Single mum pat smith panic buying for Xmas. Single mum £2000 spent. Glad you can afford it love. I work 50 + hours a week. And pay my way. Last thing I can do is think £2,000 on Xmas. Who is the idiot in this world. ME. Bazza 180

❑ just read how much its costin to feed the boat people easy way out if they can afford 2 or 3k to come over here they can afford to say to feed themselves, c how they like that. sam saunders

❑ I have never heard such cobblers saying we need overseas workers – we have enough on the dole, just need retraining in that job, and lesson dole queue and cost of dole. Stockton jeff

❑ english pm should use armed forces lorry drivers, why training up new drivers to solve his lack of import visa drivers. eu man

❑ Country in crisis with shortages in skilled jobs & on the shelves. Yet the great bozo dismisses em’ as a blip. Folk can’t wait years b4 the promised land turns up. Probs r here & now !!!! angst

❑ Funny that last week 5000 wagon drivers were needed. 2 days of military fuel deliveries to London and crisis over. Anywhere north of Watford would have been left without till Xmas. Andyyork

❑ It is right that The National Pig Association is asking supermarkets to stock UK pork. I thaught the whole idea of Brexit was for The UK to be more self-sufficient. Why import pork from our EU neighbours when we have perfectly good pork from UK pigs. It will also stop our farmer’s pigs from going to waste. Dave Pinfold, Stockport

❑ Dawn Neeson & Jon Clarke bang on track again on roger hallam. His statement means that it will be premeditated action to refuse medical treatment, if someone dies will be murder. Laurence

❑ I echo Dawn neesom’s shout out to those drivers who did what the police should have done in the first place and moved those brain dead eco fools out of the road so an ambulance could pass. Do we need to pressure the police to do their job the job that Robert Peel created them for to protect the public uphold the laws and keep the peace – they are not there to make sure those who are breaking the law are comfortable and have a cup of tea. Never mind Cressida resigning it may be time to disband this whole shower and put back a proper police force that stops crime from happening rather than just giving out crime numbers after the event. We need police not paramilitary social workers. John Challenger

❑ I do take great pleasure in saying “told u so on this page” about yr landslide tory vote? Introducing immigration for cheap labour, and cheap imports killing a cotton and txtile industry that employed mlns. Closed the mines, on the whim and spite of a bitter women, 60,000 jobs a whole industry distroyed and many communties with it. The voice of workers the unions also crushed. Privatisation into parts of the nhs for profit. The tenbob tories who supported it have to live with it. Bazboy
