❑ its strange that one profession that is low paid but also extremely important to everyone but never seems to go on strike. farm laborers work in all weathers, very hard for very little pay to produce the food we all eat. farmers are portrayed as country bumpkins and village idiots, with shows like the vicar of dibley you can see how the london elitest writers think of rural people, but they don’t go on strike, so we can still eat.
