This Riesling is quite austere but is already showing amazing potential with its precision, depth and purity. 92 POA Bibendum PLB Markus took over the family estate in 1984 and since then, he has increased the holdings from 3ha to 25ha over 18 crus on the steepest vineyards (up to 80% inclines) along the river banks of the Mosel. All the grapes are hand harvested and minimal interventi­on is used in the winery. The result, in this wine, is all about purity of fruit with aromas of tangerine, apricots and a whiff of gunflint. These follow on to the palate which finishes with a hint of honey. Drink 2016-2020 Alc 11.5%
