Farewell Sarah Kemp

Congratulations to sarah Kemp after a sterling 32 years at Decanter, and a fascinating feature on what brought her into the world of wine (September 2017). if her job interview, consisting of a tour of the building followed by lunch with several bottles of Champagne, speaks of a much lamented, more hedonistic era, she rightly notes that some things have not changed at all as ‘wine runs like a river through our lives’. like sarah, my own path to wine was as much down to luck as to judgement, and one that i have never regretted taking. let’s hear more from Decanter writers about their own journeys into wine!
