Custodia

The Cantina’s jewel-in-thecrown is the Custodia range, which takes its name from the ancient term for the hill of Custoza in mediaeval times, the last bulwark in the city of Verona’s defences at the time of the Della Scala lordship.

The range includes Custodia, Custoza Superiore DOC, which is the product of scrupulous grape selection in the Cantina’s finest 10 hectares of vineyards, kept under constant supervision by a team of agronomists during all phases of grape development. Harvesting is by hand and cellar work is highly specialised for this wine.

Custodia is the maximum expression of the Custoza DOC.
