Aresti launches two new wines completing a 5-year investment plan
With a brand new, next-generation bottling line and investments in the region of US$ 9 million over the past five years, ACW is getting ready to step up its sales in the domestic and international markets to one million cases this year.
Aresti Chile Wine (ACW), one of the most prestigious family-run wine operations in Chile, has made major investments in 2018 to consolidate its position as the leading winery in the Curicó valley.
“Our new state-of-the-art bottling line adds to the various investments made in vineyards and technology over
the past 5 years”, explained General Manager, Matías Rivera.
In winegrowing, substantial investments have been made in new plantations and upgrading of old vineyards. In winemaking, new vinification techniques have been implemented and R&D efforts are focused on identifying new areas and grape varieties. Moreover, new wines have been launched every year and; this year two Gran Reserva wines are added to the winery’s portfolio: TRISQUEL CARMENERE 2017 and TRISQUEL SERIES MALBEC 2017; two wines that will most certainly become crowdpleasers in Chile and around the world. Aresti Trisquel Gran Reserva – Carménère 2017, is a red with an appellation of origin sourced from selected lots in the best vineyards of Curicó. The wine of choice to pair with lamb, mature cheeses, and dried fruits. Aresti Trisquel Series – Curicó Costa, Malbec 2017 is the latest addition to Trisquel Series, innovative, limited-edition wines sourced from new terroirs in the Curicó Valley. This Malbec originates from vineyards situated on the coastal areas of Curicó, and partners lamb and mature cheeses perfectly. “These new wines are a testimony of our commitment to innovation as one of the Curicó valley’s premier wineries. This year we have pursued a series of projects that will allow us to further our development and position as one of the strongest players of the wine industry in Chile and around the world,” says winemaker Juan Ignacio Montt.
