How ex-Rams have fared since exits

DERBY County have sold three players since the end of last season while four others have gone out on loan.

Striker Chris Martin has also left the club after failing to agree a new deal. The Scottish internatio­nal is now playing for Bristol City.

Here’s what has happened to the players who have left the Rams...

Mason Bennett

The 24-year-old forward made a permanent move to Millwall for an undisclose­d fee having had a loan spell with the Lions last season.

Bennett has made four appearance­s this season, including three starts, and has yet to score.

Jayden Bogle

The 20-year-old right back or right wing back joined Sheffield United in a joint deal with his Rams teammate Max Lowe. The fee was undisclose­d but reported to be £11m.

Bogle’s one appearance so far came in United’s Carabao Cup tie against Burnley at Turf Moor last week. Burnley won 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Max Lowe

The 23-year-old left-back or left wing-back signed for Sheffield United as part of a reported £11m joint deal with Jayden Bogle.

His one appearance so far also came in United’s Carabao Cup tie at Burnley.

Scott Malone

The 29-year-old left-back or left wing-back joined Millwall on a season-long loan after struggling to win a place in Derby’s first team in the second half of last season.

He has made three starts for Millwall and scored on his debut in a Carabao Cup victory at Crawley.

Scott Carson

The 35-year-old goalkeeper has returned to Manchester City on loan having spent all of last season with

the Premier League club. He has yet to make an appearance for City.

Jonathan Mitchell

The 25-year-old goalkeeper joined

League One side Northampto­n Town on a season-long loan.

He has made two starts this season – one in the 3-1 defeat by MK Dons in the EFL Trophy and the other in a 4-0 defeat by Bristol City in the Carabao Cup, in which his former Rams team-mate Chris Martin scored for City.

Jayden Mitchell-Lawson

The 21-year-old winger is on a season-long loan at League One side Bristol Rovers, where he was on loan last season.

He has made four appearance­s this season, three of them starts.

Chris Martin

The 31-year-old striker left Derby County after seven years when he and the club failed to agree a new deal.

He joined Bristol City on a free and signed ed a two two-year year deal. deal He has made three appearance­s, two starts and one as a substitute, and scored one goal in a 4-0 victory over Northampto­n Town in the Carabao Cup second round.

City boss Dean Holden said: “Chris will really add to our striker options.

“He’s a proven and experience­d goalscorer at Championsh­ip level.”

Ikechi Anya and Tom Huddleston­e Anya, the 32-year-old Scottish internatio­nal, was released at the end of his contract in June.

He had not played a game in more than two years for the Rams. He has yet to find a new club.

Huddleston­e, the 33-year-old midfielder, left the club at the end of June after he and Derby failed to agree a contract extension. He has yet to find a new club.
