Wilson is attracting plenty of loan interest

-

DERBY County are keen to sign Harry Wilson on loan, it is being reported, but face competition from a number of Championship clubs for the Liverpool winger.

Interest in the 23-year-old Welsh international would come as no surprise, given his impressive season-long loan with the Rams in 2018-19, when he finished top scorer and helped Frank Lampard’s side reach the playoff final.

Cardiff City, Swansea City and Norwich City are also said to be interested in Wilson.

Derby have brought in two wingers in the current transfer window – Kamil Jozwiak from Lech Poznan for an undisclosed fee and free agent Jordon Ibe, another former Liverpool winger.

Wilson spent last season on loan with Bournemouth, playing 31 league games and scoring seven goals as the

Cherries were relegated from the Premier League.

His only first-team appearance for Liverpool came in the recent Carabao Cup penalty shoot-out defeat to Arsenal at Anfield.

A loan move for Wilson is possible with the transfer window set to close at 5pm on Friday.

Two clubs have shown an interest in signing winger Florian Jozefzoon.

It is being reported that the 29-yearold is in talks with Rotherham United over a loan move, according to Football Insider.

Jozefzoon joined the Rams from Brentford in a £2.75m deal in the summer of 2018 and is in the final year of his contract. He is not in first-team plans and he has not been given a squad number.

He last started a game against Luton Town on October 5.
