Important shield alongside George Evans in front of the back four. Kept it simple and it was effective.

Added a physical presence to the attack as the focal point, vocal as well, and got his body between the ball and defenders, fighting his markers and winning. Assist for Holmes’ goal. Still bellowed encouragement from the stand after being replaced.
